Sample itinerary
DAY 1 & 2 – Le Gosier – Guadeloupe island
First and last stop of the sailing trip
Upon arrival, you’ll meet us and the boat. We’ll enjoy some snacks and drinks while discussing the route, weather conditions, and plans for the days ahead. Depending on your arrival time, we may visit Îlet du Gosier.
On the second day, after breakfast and a morning swim, we’ll buy groceries for the entire trip. Back on board, we’ll prepare snacks and enjoy some relaxed time on the water.
In the late afternoon, we’ll cook dinner together and prepare a simple lunch for our first sailing passage.

DAY 3 & 4 – Îles des Saintes – Guadeloupe
Terre-de-Haut & Le Cabrit islands
On day 3, we’ll be up early for our first sailing passage. During breakfast, we’ll discuss the route and sailing conditions, followed by a full safety briefing, Later, we may anchor in Terre-de-Haut, the main island of the Les Saintes archipelago.
After arrival, there will be time to relax and recover from the passage. Later, we may go ashore to explore the lively Caribbean village, enjoy a sundowner, and prepare dinner.
On day 4, after breakfast, we may take a 30-minute hike to Fort Napoléon for stunning views over the bay, followed by lunch and time to relax.
In the early afternoon, you may wish to snorkel around Îlet à Cabrit, known for its clear waters and rich marine life. Later, we’ll prepare dinner and a simple lunch for the next sailing day.

DAY 5 & 6 – Portsmouth – Dominica
The Nature Island
On day 5, we will start early with breakfast and a discussion of the route and weather for the next sailing leg to Portsmouth, Dominica. We may arrive at Prince Rupert Bay in the afternoon.
After clearing customs, you can join an Indian River tour. A local guide will pick you up on board and take you along the river, passing the famous “Calypso House” from Pirates of the Caribbean and the area’s rich flora and fauna. Back on board, there will be time to relax and enjoy dinner after a full day of sailing.
Day 6 is yours to explore Dominica’s highlights, including waterfalls, sulphur springs, and natural landscapes. You can rent a car and explore at your own pace, or take a local bus to visit Red Rocks, a chocolate factory, and Escape Beach.

DAY 7 & 8 – Marie Galante – Guadeloupe
Anse Canot & St. Louis
On day 7, after breakfast and a short route briefing, we prepare for the offshore passage to Marie-Galante. We aim to arrive at Anse Canot in the afternoon, where we can enjoy the long white-sand beach and crystal-clear waters. In the evening, we will prepare dinner and may gather around a beach bonfire under the stars.
On day 8, in the morning, we can take a relaxed walk to the village of
St. Louis through sugar cane fields and banana plantations, or head to Bambou Beach for a day of swimming and relaxation.
Later in the afternoon, we return to the boat in time to enjoy the sunset before dinner.

DAY 9 – Petit Terre – Guadeloupe
The remote Nature Reserve of Guadeloupe
On day 9, after a relaxed breakfast and a slow morning, we will prepare a simple lunch for the next sailing passage.
We will then set sail towards one of Guadeloupe’s most remote islands, a protected nature reserve renowned for its exceptional snorkeling.
The mooring will be reserved for us from 4 p.m. Depending on our arrival time, we may go ashore for a short hike to the lighthouse, or simply stay on board for a swim and a snorkelling session in the crystal-clear waters.

DAY 10 – Sail to Le Gosier – Guadeloupe
Last sailing day
On day 10, we may start the day early to enjoy one last snorkeling session before the first tourist boats arrive around 8 a.m.
Around noon, we will prepare for our final sail back to Le Gosier.
In the evening, we’ll enjoy the last sunset together, followed by a farewell dinner on board or at one of the beachside restaurants.

DAY 11 – Departure day – Guadeloupe
Last day on MARLIN
On day 11, after a relaxed breakfast, you may take time to slowly pack and prepare for your flight home. It’s a calm moment to say goodbye and enjoy the last moments together.
