If you haven\u2019t chosen the meal package, we\u2019ll head out together to shop for groceries for the whole trip. Everything else will be ready to settle in and start enjoying life on board. Along the way, there are several inviting spots to drop anchor near vibrant snorkeling areas, where colorful fish abound and with a bit of luck, we might even spot a sea turtle. Once in<em> Les Anses d&#8217;Arlet<\/em>, the day is yours to enjoy a swim in the clear waters, relaxing on the beach, or strolling through the charming Creole-style fishing village.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"958\" height=\"539\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Anses-dArlet-Q.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2285 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 3 &#8211; Sainte-Anne<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>13 nautical miles \u2013 4 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we leave the anchorage and set sail for <em>Sainte-Anne<\/em>, we\u2019ll pass the iconic<em> Diamond Rock<\/em>, a striking rock that was fiercely contested by the British and French navies in the 19th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Sainte-Anne<\/em> is often regarded as one of the most picturesque towns on the island, nestled between pristine white-sand beaches and classic Caribbean views that look like they are straight out of a postcard.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Sainte-Anne-Q-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2287 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 4 &#8211; Le Vauclin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>20 nautical miles \u2013 5 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today will be a full day of sailing along and between the reefs on the island\u2019s eastern side, sheltered from the powerful Atlantic swells. Our anchorage for the night will be in a remote, tranquil and protected spot among lush, wooded islets. Once we arrive, we\u2019ll have time to explore the surrounding nature with a short afternoon walk, offering beautiful views of the landscape.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"865\" height=\"487\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Le-Vaculin-Petit-Grenade-Q.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2291 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 5 &#8211; Le Fran\u00e7ois<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4 nautical miles \u2013 1 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a relaxing morning, we set sail for a short journey to one of the eight picturesque islands in the bay of <em>Le Fran\u00e7ois<\/em>. Around these islands, there are spots with shallow white sand where you can swim in warm, clear, turquoise water. The most famous one is the <em>Baignoire de Jos\u00e9phine<\/em>. According to a legend, Jos\u00e9phine de Beauharnais, the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, once took a bath here.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Baignoire-de-Josephine-Francois-Q-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2293 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 6 &#8211; Caravelle Peninsula<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6 nautical miles \u2013 1,5 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few miles further north lies the <em>Caravelle Peninsula<\/em>, renowned for its natural beauty and one of the finest coastal hiking trails in the region. There are plenty of well-maintained trails that take you through a variety of landscapes. The amazing views from <em>Phare de la Caravelle<\/em>, plus a cool swim afterward, make it a really great day out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As overnight stays are not permitted here, we\u2019ll continue on to a new anchorage near one of the nearby islets <em>\u00celet Chancel<\/em> or <em>\u00celet Madame<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Caravelle-Q-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2294 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 7 &#8211; Full Sailing Day<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>40 nautical miles \u2013 9 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This day promises plenty of sailing excitement as we navigate around the northern part of the island, without sheltered anchorages to stop at. As we sail along the coast, we\u2019ll go past the island\u2019s lush farming areas, and if we\u2019re lucky, we might see the top of <em>Montagne Pel\u00e9e<\/em>, an active volcano that\u2019s usually hiding behind clouds.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Full-sailing-day-Q-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2296 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 8 &#8211; Saint-Pierre<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>0 nautical miles \u2013 0 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a full day of sailing, we\u2019ll spend a relaxing day in <em>Saint-Pierre<\/em>. This town used to be the lively capital of Martinique and had the island\u2019s first big harbor. In 1902, <em>Mountagne Pel\u00e9e\u2019s<\/em> eruption destroyed almost the entire city. Today, the ruins remain as a powerful reminder of the island\u2019s past, making <em>Saint-Pierre<\/em> a fascinating place to explore and reflect.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/natural-equilibrium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Saint-Pierre-Q-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2297 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 37%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 9 &#8211; Anse Noir<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>15 nautical miles \u2013 3,5 hours sailing time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is our last full day on board, and we\u2019ll begin making our way south again.
